Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 13, 2026
Overview
Tellora Inc. (“Recall,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Recall mobile application and related services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share personal information when you use the Service, and the choices and rights you have.
Information we collect
We may collect:
- Account information — name, email, phone number, and authentication data
- Call data — phone numbers, call metadata, audio recordings, transcriptions, and AI-generated summaries
- Contacts — with your permission, to identify callers and display contact names
- Device and usage data — device identifiers for push notifications, app diagnostics, and general usage
- Location — coarse location or time zone where needed for telecom compliance or scheduling features
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide calling, recording, transcription, and memory features
- Generate summaries, follow-ups, and searchable call history
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Send service-related notifications
- Improve reliability, safety, and product quality
- Comply with legal obligations
How we share information
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data with service providers that help us operate the Service, such as:
- Twilio — voice calling and phone number services
- Cloud infrastructure and AI providers — hosting, transcription, and language processing
- Apple — subscription and payment processing through the App Store
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.
Call recording
Call recording laws vary by jurisdiction and some require all parties to consent. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before recording a call. The app provides tools to help you capture and document consent. See our Terms of Service for details.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Call recordings, transcriptions, and summaries are retained for the period associated with your plan and settings and, by default, are deleted within 90 days unless you choose to save them or a longer period is required by law. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce agreements.
Your choices and account deletion
You can update account information in the app, manage notification permissions in iOS Settings, and revoke contact access at any time. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID account settings.
You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app under Settings, or by emailing hello@tellora.ai.
